I forgot to provide an update to how I was doing with Kindle. The answer is that I'm doing very well. Most of my business has shifted to Kindle as a result. All you need to do to succeed is to continue writing and publishing fiction books in as many niches as you possibly can. Make sure they are novels, have an excellent cover and that you charge at least $2.99. Do not overthink. Do not care about reviews, what other people's niches are, how many books someone else wrote, how much money another author is making etc. Just write and publish your first book NOW if you haven't done so. Then write and publish another book even if the first one didn't do well. Eventually you will dominate.

i am doing ok (only about $500 month) in the Kindle niche
i do real estate investing full time so the Kindle niche is just
    a side project for me.

I outsource EVERTHING from the content to the cover.

Can you make a 100k a year from Kindle?
I am sure you can but you better bring a lunch
as it is going to be a long day.

Do you suggest to publish fiction books?

If this is a fiction... what do you mean by the "niche" here? Could you elaborate?

Yes, fiction is what you should be writing. That's where the big year-round money is at. When I was talking about niche, a good synonym would be genre. So basically, there's action, romance, children's, fantasy, erotica etc. for different genres of books. Don't worry about what you genre you pick for your first book. Just write your first book and when you're done with that one you can switch genres if you want to.

It's been a little over a year since I've posted about my experience with Kindle, so I figured I'd share what's going on with it. To sum it up really quickly, creating books on Kindle and other similar platforms has given me most steady, scalable, evergreen income ever. So yes, this business model (it's not a "method") still works at the end of 2014 and I don't foresee books ever becoming obsolete. If there are still people out there who have yet to even make their first dollar online, I suggest giving this a try.

Kindle is new in France... and promotion like I read on USA books can not be applied here.
This is why I can sell more if i have many non fiction books.
My main goal (for the moment) is to write 100 books that can sell only 10 per month.
I really need a strategy to write very fast. this is why I am looking for this WSO: "kindle week-end"
Yes! I have 15 books that bring me 200€/month and one book that bring me 100€/month.
I just put the winners of my books in paperbook with createspace.
I also look to publish on Kobo devices
Kindle provides more money than websites and with less effort
    Hope this help!
