Default [ASK] Jeff Walker's Pro Follow vs regular Aweber, what to chose?

I'm considering signing up for Pro follow which is apparently a white label version of Aweber but at a lower price.

The offer is enticing, $19 per month for 10,000 subscribers. Compare this to aweber, $50 for the same number of subscribers. Gotta decide before Dec. 13th, that's when the deal ends.

Is it safe (will Jeff Walker mess with me as I will be in the IM niche?)

Also in terms of getting through spam filters, I don't know if the delivery rates are same as if signed through regular aweber?

Thinking out loud, if I wanted to switch down the road from profollow to aweber, I don't think it should be an issue but to start, the price saving are good esp. starting out.

Anyone has experience with it? Opinions? Suggestions? Let them out here :-)

He is using aweber to host this, It is just branded under his name. They are both the same.

I read somewhere that it's a private label version of an older Aweber. Not sure if the interface is same as aweber? May be worth calling the 1800 number of profollow and ask them directly.

I would rather hear from someone here +ve or -ve about each service.

    Thanks for your reply dookiedog!

I have been a Profollow user for the last 2 years.

It's really a white label version of aweber. All support is by Aweber. Also, when I ask Aweber support some time back, I can switch over to Aweber later on if I want to (i.e. no need to opt-in again for existing subscribers).

I'm quite happy so far with the service.

Only disadavantage compared to Aweber is that you do not get the advanced analytics stuff with the present pricing.

    Hope this helps.

For the old price I would get Profollow but if they change the price I would go with Aweber to have the advanced analytics features and the ability to resend to unopned mails which Aweber has but Profollow does not.

Profollow deliverability rates are the same as Aweber according to their support

I've seen several white label version of aweber, some of their pricing certainly very attractive compare to aweber price. If you want to find other aweber white label just type this into google (with quotes): "Each plan includes unlimited autoresponders, unlimited follow ups, unlimited broadcasts, and unlimited campaigns."

Some still have the old aweber price and some have adjusted to match aweber price.

That way you shouldn't feel that Jeff Walker is your only option.

Thanks for sharing your experience. You are right about ProFollow being the same as Aweber minus the advanced analytics. The upcoming upgrade of Profollow after Dec. 13 will have the same pricing and features as aweber.

    Jeff himself responded here:

Now for the advanced analytics stuff, from the various forum posts, it looks like one can live without them and save some money in the beginning. Esp. the offer of $20 per month upto 10,000 subscribers is enticing. Nobody talks about this but there are lot of deadbeat subscribers on the lists and it can add just as quickly. I'm leaning toward profollow for now.

    colombiano and bedegul,
So these private label versions of Aweber, are they providing their own front end interface and just using the Aweber backend? If they are offering the same pricing (I don't know yet if all of them are) then the deciding factor would be the reputation of the company/person behind the white labeled version. Say I would feel more comfortable going with Jeff Walker than Ewen Chia :-) Just by going to the links given by bedegul above, all of them look the same on their pricing page, sorta of like a web hosting reseller account.

To be honest I haven't using autoresponder services, so I wouldn't know much about aweber backend.
The above links are found when I googling for aweber white label/franchise or whatever they are.

Maybe other IJ member can share their experience.
