So true Apple are getting way out of hand look up the apple vs Samsung court cases apple want to get the galaxy banned basicly saying in court that the galaxy shape and onscreen icons look like the iphone?

even though samsung had phones that shape and style way before the iphone and microsoft were using the same pictures for icons in windows years ago?

The only thing apple are trying to do is slow down technical advances in there favour and control the markets.

Hopefully that won't happen!

I liked apple when Wozniak was the innovator, but when he left, I left too. Apple computers had an edge when they used motorola chips, but they switched to intel. So actually people are paying a lot more money for what is basically a PC.

You hit the nail on the head there, its basically a pc that is running on linux now they have their new operating system.

there's two kinds of invention or creation of ideas\products;
1- synthetic creation - where you take existing ideas or products and combine them in a different or unique way for something new (most creatives products or ideas are this method)
2- True creation, where you totally invent something so different, thats its totally new.

So, under definition #1 above, i would say they have created\invented something.

Synthesis is very important and without it progress is impossible. However Apple, intoxicated by their success and become arrogant, have gone to the extent of suing companies who had originated components that Apple uses in their so-called "created" or "invented" products. That's arrogance bordering on insanity. In today's world, sadly, that's considered normal.
